Full Studio Album - Yes we did!

It’s here. We did it. And it’s good. I mean really good. Not just a “we did our best” and it’s pretty good, but a “yeah we did our best and it sounds like we wanted it to”!

We have now released the album on CD on a limited run, available to order direct from us (please contact us if you want a copy). So, when? Why?
The band has been established for a while now and when Covid struck, it gave me a unique opportunity. Forced to stop work, I focussed my attention on writing songs in a way that I’ve wanted to for years, but full-time work had made difficult. With the clock ticking on the arrival of my first-born child, I got to work. By the end of 2020, the songs were written. Next, it was time to involve the band.

Throughout 2021, the band worked together to workshop and write arrangements to the new songs, often remotely though there were some precious times together too. Refined and planned out, we prepared for the ‘studio’.

Starting big, we went to Studio 91 for 3 days to record the drums. The rest was a humbler affair, with recordings taking place in offices, lounges and home studios. Juggled between childcare, house moves, decorating and another child imminent, we pushed through and completed recording before Christmas. The studio took it all, gave their polish and now here we are: one crisp, beautiful piece of us for you to enjoy.
